Why did you join Rotary?
I was a member of another service organization – Apex (founded in Australia in 1930) and had to retire at the mandatory age of 40 years. Many Apex members (especially in Australia) join Rotary when they retire at the mandatory age of 40. Since many of my friends were already in Rotary, they ‘swayed’ me to join Rotary.

Why do you think other people should join Rotary as oppose to other organisations?
Not sure of other service organizations, but Rotary club members are a diverse group of people from various professions and business which enriches a club. Moreover Rotary is the oldest service organization in the world and it is now in the 2nd century of service. Rotary truly lives up to its principle of ‘Service Above Self’.

What is the most fulfilling part about being a Rotary member?
Continuing fellowship and the privilege to serve mankind by making life more meaningful for the less fortunate. I can proudly say that my attendance has been more than 90% since I joined Rotary in 1993 and 100% for the last 7 years.
